Athlete groups
Athletes can now gather into groups without a coach: a running crew, a club section, friends getting ready for a race. Groups are open to everyone — Community → Groups.
Creating and joining
- An athlete with a connected watch — Garmin, Polar, Suunto, COROS, Wahoo or Apple Watch — can create a group. This keeps spam out; joining other groups doesn’t need a watch.
- Joining and the first group you create are free; the second costs 200 ₽, the third and every next one 500 ₽ one-off. The name and description are checked before publishing, usually in under a minute, and you are charged only after the check.
- The group description is formatted text: bold, italic, lists. Contacts and addresses are not allowed in it.
- Three ways to join: Open, By request — the founder or moderators approve each person — and Invite only. Invite by email or with a one-time link valid for 14 days. The founder sets a participant limit.
- A new group is private: it isn’t listed, and people get in by invitation or a direct link. A public group is listed in the group catalog and visible without signing in, with each participant’s weekly volume and average pace over 4 weeks and the number of men and women. A participant with a private profile appears as “Participant”, without name or avatar. When a group becomes public, every participant is notified.
- Roles: founder, moderators and participants. The founder can hand the group over in Settings; if the founder deletes their account, the group passes to the earliest appointed moderator, otherwise to the earliest participant. A group can be archived and restored.
Announcement board and chats
- The Overview tab is the founder’s and moderators’ announcement board, with formatting and links. Participants learn about a new announcement in their inbox.
- The Chats tab has General plus topics. Messages with formatting and images, reply with quote, up to three pinned messages per topic (founder and moderators), voice messages up to 3 minutes with transcription, and emoji reactions. A pasted screenshot is downscaled automatically.
- Unread messages show as a green counter in Community → Groups, on My groups and in the Groups section of the chat list. The red Chat badge stays reserved for the coach. An athlete without a coach sees their groups in the chat list.
- Newcomers see the chat history, but unread counts start from the moment they join.
Group workout feed
- The Feed tab shows workouts of participants who share them with the group. Sharing is chosen when joining and can be turned off with “Hide my workouts”; a single workout can be hidden from groups.
- A workout opened from the group feed is shown in group mode: participants only, without likes, comments, the plan or the report to the coach.
- The main Feed has buttons for your groups next to the All / Mine / Following filters.
Group events
- The Events tab: the founder and moderators publish free events for group participants only or for everyone. The text is checked before publishing. When a group-only event is approved, participants are notified.
For groups page
- A new “For groups” page in three languages, with photos and the “The group in action” video. Groups now appear on the pricing page, the home page and in the site footer.
Plans and workout structure
- The workout structure is visible right in the week editor: edit the description and the steps there without leaving the week. The description and structure windows share one size, so switching between them doesn’t jump.
- In the structure window you can edit the description and open the plan form; a picture without text stays on the plan.
- A workout with a structure can be published without a text description, and the plan view shows the structure sketch. A blank description no longer turns a workout into a draft when saving a week.
- The structure palette has a recovery block (1:30). In templates, recovery is now 1:30 at an easy effort, and 50–60% FTP on the bike.
- In time fields you can correct one digit without retyping the whole field. Wake-up and bedtime are entered as clock time, CSS as a pace.
- The coach’s view of an athlete calendar shows whether a published plan covers the rest of the week: every day, some days or none.
- The watch gets the structure the model built when its kilometres match the calculation. The text parser no longer adds an extra fartlek pair already counted inside a longer block.
- The week builder no longer copies a cut-off workout, and the week review no longer flips a correct slow-to-fast pace.
PaceTrack Bot AI coach
- Chat replies rely on the last two days of training — the plan with its full text and the workout with its review — rather than chat memory.
- Before a race there are two briefs: a preparation brief 4–7 days out and a race plan 2 days out, based on current form and the weather.
- For supervisors: a Problems page with tasks the AI coach couldn’t complete and a way to fix them; a week that fails the rules check becomes a supervisor decision; supervisor notifications also come by email, with each channel switchable on its own.
Feed and workouts
- Feed cards show per-kilometre bars instead of a chart.
- If a workout’s totals have no ascent, it is filled in from the laps.
Guides
- Coach guide: section 1 rewritten to describe what PaceTrack does today; the new plan and structure windows and the week editor are described again with fresh screenshots.
- Athlete guide: how to rate a workout and how to log a workout without a watch recording.
Reliability and fixes
- WHOOP: when the refresh token stops working, the integration is treated as disconnected. WHOOP token refresh and Garmin sync moved away from the busiest minutes.
- Analytics no longer crashes when a week’s planned volume rounds down to zero.
- The Needs attention block shows while it is loading.
- The Telegram channel link is now in the site footer.
